This week was so wonderful. Getting to FaceTime the fam and Laura is the biggest blessing and I just can't believe how much I love you all and how grateful I am for you! Squeeeeeeezes to you<3 everyone who gets to see your faces and stand next to you and breathe the same air molecules as you do every day is blessed.
Moment of silence for the TaoYuan 4th ward members as they brought all their friends to church this past Sunday for Mother's Day! The ward here is on fire and Sister Jensen and I are amazed every day at the incredible, faithful members here in Taiwan. Taiwan is so special it makes me want to cry thinking about the short time being able to learn from the people around me each day. I think surrounding yourself with people that push you to be better is a huge lesson I have learned while serving. You are constantly seeing ways the Atonement of Jesus Christ can heal you and that's what this life is all about.
Today I tried durian fruit and it's the world's most delicious food along with Taiwanese mangoes.

My rain guard got stuck in my bike this week and it was pretty sketchy. Before I even knew what was happening, our amazing investigator named 路姐妹 drove past, saw us strugglin', and pulled over and ran out of her car to help. But before she could get to my bike, there was a man (later found out his name was 張先生) already going hard fixing/unjamming my bike!! It was such a crazy experience because before I even knew what the problem was there were people there helping!
(Oh by the way I didn't crash, I just stopped super abruptly and pulled over to the side. we good we good!)
We met an amazing new investigator this past week named 羅姐妹。 She shared a lot about how she doesn't feel a purpose in life and desires to have friends. It was such a spiritual moment listening to her. She was so prepared and ready to hear the gospel! SIster Jensen and I listened in amazement as we realized how much she needed the gospel. I think one of the most beautiful things is witnessing these questions and thinking about how I myself have asked them before and realizing that the gospel of Jesus Christ can really answer any question of the soul. I know it's so true because I have asked, received answers and have daily confirmations of the truth in hearing others concerns and challenges.
The gospel of Jesus Christ is so simple, pure and perfect.
We only have to open our heart and try and humble ourselves.
I love being a missionary and testifying of Jesus Christ each day. II know that through Jesus Christ and His Atonement I can change and we can all change and continually find true joy in the process!
Invitation: pray and ask God a specific question. Ex: Do you exist? What am I not seeing that I need to learn in my life right now? Where do you need me? Who can I help? Am I on the right path? Ask Him anything! I know Heavenly Father will answer you and you will feel it in your 心理<3 it will be powerful!
