This week was life changing. We heard from an apostle, Elder Quentin L. Cook.
His testimony was so incredible and the Spirit was incredibly strong. I know with all my heart that the church is true and the doctrine is simple and Jesus Christ is our Savior. It doesn't matter who/where/what/why/how... because of Jesus Christ we can find eternal, lasting joy! 喜樂喜樂喜樂
This week we had some amazing lessons with really wonderful people, talked of Christ, repentance, went on exchanges, taught English class, had Kevin's baptism!!! and met miracle new investigators.
It was miracle after miracle after miracle this week.
I think if you could condense my vocabulary into one word it would be miracle.
We were on our way to attend our English class student KEVIN's baptism!!! and we prayed to meet someone along the way who would be willing to attend the baptism. We pull around the very last corner before the church after a 20 min bike ride of people saying "nah" and we see a mom and her son, so they are the last ones we talk to before going in. We invite them in and she says "Can I really?" Her name is Song Jiemei and her and her son attended the whole baptism and then came to church the very next day!!! Even cooler is that when she got to church we were introducing her to everyone and she totally knew the bishops wife, whom she really admired and hadn't seen in over half a year because they didn't have each other's contact information! We are SO PUMPED about the miracles of our loving Heavenly Father who truly prepares the way for His children when they are ready and willing. Seriously words cannot do this miracle justice!
