This is Joyce! She is 18 and has been attending the LDS English class for 4 years. Well this past week we were like uhhhh why isn't Joyce learning about the gospel, too? So we said "hey Joyce do you want us to teach you about Jesus Christ, too?" and Joyce was like, "Sure!" okay WHAT hahahaha Everyone has their time and clearly this is Joyce's time! So we met with her a couple days later and felt like we should read Mosiah 18 from the Book of Mormon. She understands the scriptures better than we do!! The entire time she would stop and share her thoughts and talk about how amazing Alma was and just took it all and applied it to her life. SO incredible! The only thing is that her Dad charts like every single thing she does so Sunday's are harder for her to get to church. But Joyce is reading and praying about the Book of Mormon and she said she feels it's power every time she reads it! We love Joyce! Sometimes the answers that God gives us are sitting right in front of us....like literally right in front of us! so cool
*culture shock* Please everyone let's take a moment of silence for the VERY FIRST standing alone home I have ever seen in Taiwan. IT'S AN ACTUAL HOUSE!!!!! I stared at it for so long and was really just so confused at how foreign it was. Best part: this is a member's home, The Ni Family, and when I stepped inside I actually almost passed out. Dang America houses are huge! And so fancy!!!! I was so shocked....look at this house!
When there's a sunset and a roof the white girls grab their cameras and try to get a cute selfie. But when you're a missionary, the weather has NO CHILL and also nothing is about you on the mission so God smacks you in the face with some good old wind. I LOVE TAIWAN. This is two floors up from our apartment.

This is 蔡祺綺~ she is the most incredible member missionary ever! She brought 5 friends to meet with us in the past 2 weeks. She is also our best friend. lots of luv for her.
We had a FHE last night with the 尤家庭 and they invited their non-member friend to come. Ahhhh so many miracles~ The woman to my left, Cai JieMei, and her son behind her are super super amazing. Her husband passed away recently from cancer. I can't even imagine the pain she is in but it was incredible to be able to talk about Jesus Christ's gospel and testify of the Plan of Salvation. Cai JieMei cried the entire time and asked how we knew it was true. The You Family (the member family) shared really powerful personal experiences and ahh it was incredible! The whole room was filled with God's love for them. Please keep the Cai Family in your prayers!
