This is Kimmy 李！Our favorite noodles waitress.
This week was nuts but we loved it! We got a call from the mission office telling us that our landlord sold our house and we had to be out of it ASAP! so went on exchanges, found a house, and moved all in the period of 3 days! 沒有問題！We only moved 3 minutes from our old place. but the missionary apartment had soooo much stuff and it was heavy. Do you want to know how incredible the Taiwanese people are? We had 2 men, a foot shorter than me and probably only 80 pounds, carry all of our stuff- fridge, washing machine,
EVERYTHING- up to our new house. On the 5th floor. WITH NO ELEVATOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please take a moment of silence for those two men. They did all of it in a 4 hour period. so now every time
Sister J and I walk up the stairs we have a moment of silence and just say under our breath in remembrance ...
"5 flights...everything...5 flights of stairs..." lesson learned: we've no reason to complain!
This week our amazing member referral investigator,呂玉琪 told us she has already read up to 1 Nephi 8! She says that she feels like she is finally forming a relationship with God and it is helping her at home and work and with relationships. She is so humble and has such pure faith in God and Jesus Christ.呂玉琪 will be baptized in June- keep praying for her! I love her so much. We will get a pic this week and send it to you next Monday :D
Okay on the real, I have to tell you the greatest miracle that happened yesterday.
This past Saturday, the Elder's investigator, George Moses from Nigeria got baptized! Ah we love Brother Moses!! He is the most humble man I have met in my life. You immediately feel happier when you see him. His testimony is incredible and the Spirit was so strong at his baptism. So he was baptized on Saturday and on Sunday he was confirmed. Right after he was confirmed was the sacrament. Okay remember that.
Other half of the story:
There is a member in our ward who is recently dealing with some serious depression and during sacrament meeting this week I felt to go sit by her. This was the worst state I have ever seen her in. She opened up about how bad her depression has gotten and despite seeing her doctor regularly she struggles to the point that she doesn't want to live. She wants so badly to feel love and feel close to God again. She is in so much pain.
Alright now fast forward to last night.
Last night we called the Elders who taught Brother Moses and they go, "Sisters you will never believe what happened. Brother Moses seriously saw a vision." We were like uhhhhh wut?? The Elders went on to tell us that during the sacrament, Elder Shumway was sitting next to Brother Moses and Brother Moses turns to him and says, "Elder Shumway is there someone in this room named Jessie?" Keep in mind that Brother Moses speaks absolutely no Chinese. Brother Moses then goes on to say, "There is someone in this room named Jessie and we have to help her soon. I just closed my eyes during the sacrament and I saw a box. And it was falling off a cliff. and a woman was inside the box and the name 'Jessie' was written on the box.
Do you know a Jessie?? We really have to help her?"

The woman who has been dealing with deep depression....her English name is Jessie.
Brother Moses has no idea that her name is Jessie. He frankly doesn't know her at all!
God knows us each so personally and so well. He works through others to help us and help us feel loved and cared for. If you are struggling or if you are wondering if God is real or if you just want to be cared for, I promise with all my heart and soul that God knows you and His love is real!
Neither Brother Moses nor Jessie know of this experience yet.
How often God speaks through others to care for you. He loves you!
I am so amazed by His power.
I hope I did that story 1/9292 of the justice it deserves. God is real. Jesus Christ is His son and Jesus Christ Atoned for us so we could live and exist in this beautiful world full of miracles and joy and growth!
